TROUBLESHOOTING INSTRUCTIONS!!!!!!!!
Check App Permissions: Make sure the app has the necessary permissions to access motion and activity data. Go to your phone's settings, find the app, and ensure permissions for motion/activity are enabled.
Background App Management: Confirm that the app is allowed to run in the background. Some devices have aggressive power-saving features that may restrict background activities. Check your device's settings for app-specific battery optimization settings and exclude the step-tracking app.
Battery Saver Mode: If you're using battery saver mode, consider disabling it temporarily to see if step tracking resumes. Battery saver mode can restrict background processes, potentially affecting step counting.
App Updates: Ensure you have the latest version of the app installed. Updates often include bug fixes and improvements, which might address step tracking issues.
Restart the App: Close the app completely and then reopen it. This can help refresh the app's background processes and may resolve any temporary glitches.
Restart Your Device: Sometimes, a simple device restart can clear out background issues and restore normal functionality.
Check Device Compatibility: Verify that your device is compatible with the app's step tracking feature. Some older devices or certain hardware configurations might have limitations.
