📖Into the labyrinth

Chapter 1

In a place where all hope seems to be lost and forgotten, humans, hybrids and super naturals struggle to find their way back home. Endlessly wandering in an ever-changing labyrinth they battle to get back to the lives they once thought they had.. Web Journal entry No. 1 We are a group of humans above all... Although many have forgotten that by now since we've been stuck in this labyrinth for what seems to be decades now... Men, Women, Children, Hybrids.. even some Super Naturals for god's sakes... but there's still no damn way out! So far everything we've tried has been futile.... it's like this labyrinth is always one step ahead of us. Whether we'll survive or not, we have no idea... Only time will tell I guess. Web Journal Entry No. 2 We’ve been walking for quite some time now… we’re bound to reach our limits, i'm sick of seeing all these skeletons around us. If i knew any better i'd say we’ve been making some kind of progress, but you never know when the labyrinth is playing tricks on you… It's a bit strange how we haven't encountered anything yet.. Almost feels like we’re walking into some kind of trap.. Most of us humans already reached our daily limits but luckily the hybrids and super naturals have been conjuring boosts to keep us going… Nonetheless all that we can do is keep walking and hope for the best… Nova out

Web Journal Entry No. 3 The group decided to stop and take a break to recharge. We set up camp and got some generators up and running to get us through the night. The supernaturals have been patrolling the area and if you ask me, some of em’ seem to be acting strange. You never know with the supernaturals… sometimes they seem fine and sometimes they act up since we depend on them for boosts… I have my doubts though.. The way I see it, if you’re supernatural, you’d be able to somehow get out of a maze… However here they are…helping us regular mortals…The hybrids are a different story.. They go out of their way to help us keep moving. One of the super naturals 'Ime' seems ok though, he genuinely seems committed to helping us… or maybe they just wanna get closer to us and our secrets…..

Web Journal Entry No. 4 I can’t believe it.. It seems like we finally made a breakthrough… One of the hybrids scanned one of the maze walls and figured out it was hollow… We’re now in some type of … secret cave in the labyrinth I guess.. There’s some paintings on the walls but nothing that a human can understand… I saw some of the supernaturals eyes start to glow like they knew what it meant but it beats me… Sure as hell they won't tell us… Starting to think that they’re here on their own free will and can get out whenever they want. It's like they’re searching for something and need us to get to it... Whatever it is, it must be something valuable, this is just me making assumptions though… I hope I'm wrong… Web Journal Entry No. 5 Ok so unfortunately, the cave was a no-go …. But it did give us hope to double check the walls… we have the hybrids scanning every dead end we hit so we’re bound to find something else sooner or later. Anyway.. Ever since we hit that last cave, the supernaturals have become more caring and less ignorant.. I wonder what those paintings were.. Maybe if I can get some one-on-one time with Ime he could fill me in… could be very risky, but I guess it's worth a shot! Web Journal Entry No. 6 So it turns out that the scanning is a waste of time… even some of the Males from the group joined in to help the hybrids but it didn't result in anything. Back to square one again… wandering this damn maze.. Trick told me that while he was helping the hybrids scan he noticed some of the super naturals cozying up with the others from the group. That cave definitely changed em i tell ya.. They weren't all lovey-dovey before we found it.. They’re such a tight knit group considering there isn't many of em… pretty hard to get em separated.. Maybe some of the hybrids can help…. Web Journal Entry No. 7 Ok so Ivy which is like.. The leader of the hybrids helped me put together a plan to try and get Ime alone since he looked the most vulnerable… We told him that one of Ivy's scanners stopped working and that we needed a blessing of repairs from him.. Ivy moved him to the side where i was hiding and i popped up on him.. We tried to get him to explain what the paintings were but he was reluctant to say… we tried to push him to talk but he’s a supernatural for christ sakes… you can't force him into anything.. I started punching one of the walls in frustration and it was only then that he intervened.. All he said was … ‘Stop.. without you there are no supernaturals”.. Which sounded pretty weird to me…. I tried to get him to explain but before he left all he said was.. ‘Supernaturals, Humans and Hybrids are one’ … Web Journal Entry No. 8 Ok that little chat I had with Ime last time left me pretty confused.. What the hell did he mean by what he said.. That we’re all “one”... He got me thinking… If we’re all one i guess they dont wanna destroy us… but it could mean they’re using us… or maybe i'm just being over protective? Damnit now even I'm confused… all i know is they better not think that they’re gonna exploit our kind or any other kind for their own benefit… they’d have to get through me first… Nova out Web Journal Entry No. 9

Ok tensions have been growing again…you can even feel it from the Hybrids aswell. I blame the supernaturals for that!! We cant be in a labyrinth for over 10 years and still not know everything about each other… I'm honestly getting sick of it! We have to find a common ground and have a talk, Me, Ime, Ivy, Colt.. I doubt the supernaturals will agree but god dammit they don't have a choice… they have to… if we are all “one” then we should be able to sit and have a civil conversation about what our plans are going forward.. And if we cant do that… well i guess its best we split up!

Web Journal Entry No. 10

Ok so…. We grouped up and had the chat.. And as weird as it sounds… i guess its our only hope… So according to Ime… They cant get out of the Labyrinth because the exit can only be seen by … as he put it “the eyes of the young '' or at least thats what the paintings meant. What i think he was trying to say was that we need to have… offspring? Which to be honest i'm completely against.. However Colt seemed pretty into it… even the Hybrids seemed okay.. But I dunno…. It kinda feels weird.. Different beings.. getting together.. what would the result be? As Ime said he and the supernaturals seemed to have it all figured out and supposedly the kids see passages that we cannot.. Especially if they’re from 2 different beings.. Now.. we’re at a crossroads and have to choose between our morales.. Or our desire to get out of this labyrinth.. One thing Ime was sure of… was that without “young eyes” we had absolutely no way of getting out..

Chapter 2 Web Journal Entry No. 1

Ever since Ime told us about the children and a way out.... we'd been at a crossroads... crossover between the races had never been something we were planning for. We were thinking we'd stick together until we survive but now it turns out that to survive we have to become one... Literally. We're preparing to relay the info from Ime to the others and i guess we'll take it from there. This will either turn out to be good or bad...

Web Journal Entry No. 2

We had a tribal meeting today, at first it was just us humans, then the hybrids and the supernaturals tagged along. We had a constructive conversation for the most part... but of course there were some humans that were complaining but then again there were some of the super naturals that didn't like the idea either. Luckily after a while we were finding some common ground. One of the Families volunteered to use their child, Bolt, if the super naturals were to promise that no harm would come the kids way. After a bit of back and forth with Ime, they agreed on taking a few trips per day with Zero and that they'd report back with their findings.

Web Journal Entry No. 3

Recently Ime has been taking Bolt and an expedition of supernaturals deep into the labyrinth, to supposedly find some hidden passages that might get us out of this god forsaken place. From what I understand, they haven’t found anything meaningful yet,other than some sequence of numbers that they found which is all nice if someone actually knew what the numbers were for.. Maybe I'm just paranoid from being in here too long. Anyway, these new journey’s that Ime is having with Bolt have lightened up the mood around our camp. People seem to have started feeling optimistic that one day we actually might get out of here. Only time will tell…. Web Journal Entry No. 4

Its been a long time since the last entry but it seems as though we’ve finally reached a breakthrough or so it seems…. The expedition came back to the camp today and told us that they’ve found a series of hidden passages and gateways that could potentially lead to an exit… as for now we’re just taking guesses but this spark of new hope has changed the mood throughout the camp! Some are getting over excited while others are making sure not to get their hopes up as this could be a dead end… But one thing's for sure, this has sparked positivity for all us walkers…

Web Journal Entry No. 5 So we had a little chat today with the expedition and they told us that they had found a large fortified door in one of the passages that was locked shut. Apparently, it requires some type of key card for it to be opened…. Us walkers haven’t seen any type of cards for a long.. long time… it's kind of depleting our hope of getting out if you ask me…. Most of us have already had enough. There’s some walkers planning to completely give up on getting out.. Not me though…. Not in this place…we’ll fight till our last breath to get out!

Web Journal Entry No. 6

You’ll never guess what happened today….. Me and some of the fellow humans decided to take a walk in the parts familiar to us, Bolt decided to come with us since he was bored in the camp and good thing he did. Ime and the other supernaturals usually take some other routes and they dont go over the paths that we already know. Anyway, long story short, Bolt tripped and fell on the floor and incidentally looked at the ceiling and saw a massive circular door. A door that none of us elderly folk could see.. Which of course meant that Ime was right about us having to become one and work together towards getting out. Once Bolt saw the ceiling we quickly called Ime for him to see it as well! He quickly scouted out the remainder of the room and we actually found a secret lever that can be pulled but nothing happened when we did… lt seems like it needs to somehow be powered by electricity in order for it to work.. Ime quickly rallied all the Walkers and sent us to go look for scrap parts.. Anything that can help us spark some electricity in here to get this lever going.

Web Journal Entry No. 7

Good thing about being in this labyrinth for a long time is that we had all kinds of parts stockpiled… things we need, things we don't need… you name it. Luckily some of the humans still possess their engineering strengths passed down to them and were able to put together a contraption that can spark up some electricity. We went back to the room where the lever was and connected its hardware to the makeshift electricity generator that we made. To be honest i was pretty sceptical but once the electric current started flowing in the lever the circle on the ceiling started glowing in a very bright blue color. It was as if it was preparing to open up.Ime and I got on the platform and started slowing going towards the ceiling. Once we got close, a screen showed up and required a code… The only possible code it could have been was the code we had found earlier.. Ime entered the code and the circle started swirling and opening up slowly… Once it opened up the platform continued rising and now we find ourselves in front of a translucent wall… i guess we need to go through it! Gotta go now, ill make sure to keep you guys informed once we’re through! Web Journal Entry No. 8

So it turns out it won't be as easy as we first thought. Apparently once we cross there is a series of mazes and puzzles that we will need to solve in order to get to the other side. And then we’d have no idea what would be waiting for us…. But I'm guessing there wouldn't be puzzles and secret passages to this place just for it to end up being for nothing! What a cruel joke that would be… Anyway, long story short, we decided that we’re slowly gonna start packing our things and start making our way to the passages and… hope for the best pretty much… I guess if we don't make it out, we can always come back to the camp and set everything up again……. I and everyone else is hoping that it doesn't come to that We are out, and what now ?

Hi again, I know its been a while since my last entry, we've been super busy since we made it out of the labyrinth. Since all that was left for us was nothing, we've all kinda started getting along and started to build our future together, since all we have is each other...
